Description

Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) steam engine No. 6755 is an M1-class 4-8-2 (Mountain) engine. It was built by the PRR Altoona Works in 1930 to pull heavy trains over the Appalachian Mountains. The M1-class Mountains were fast enough to be mixed-traffic engines, and they were greatly admired by their crews. During its time in service, No. 6755 was fitted with a long-range eight-axle tender. It was retired in 1957 and is currently on display outside the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum in Strasburg. The big engine has unfortunately taken a lot of damage from exposure to the elements, and the museum staff are not yet able to give it a proper restoration.

This engine needs proper medications from all the elements of outside. Something must be done about this.
