E+S CWS Teas Poster at Beamish

This poster advertising English and Scottish Cooperative Wholesale Society (E&S CWS) teas at the Beamish Museum's Edwardian town shows a smiling Japanese woman in a kimono but no actual tea -- perhaps the message was that buying and drinking CWS tea will bring some of the elegance of Japan into your (i.e. the average British worker's) home.
