Shimizu Ekimae Ginza

Back when I lived in Shizuoka, Japan, one of the schools where I taught, as well as the way to the Shimizu railway station, was in the Shimizu Ekimae Ginza shopping arcade.  Most of the shops there were small and friendly, but business there was apparently not as good as it used to be, as newer shopping centers such as Cenova, Markis, and S-Pulse Dream Plaza are drawing customers away from downtown Shimizu and into other parts of Shizuoka.
