Description

The National Railway Museum (York, England) has at least two vehicles used in Queen Victoria's royal train.  One is London, Brighton, and South Coast Railway (LBSCR) Stroudley 0-4-2 express-passenger locomotive 214 Gladstone, and the other is a 12-wheel day/night saloon car built by the London and North Western Railway (LNWR).  Gladstone and the coach are coupled together and displayed in the NRM Station Hall as Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee train of 1897, with several Union Flags hanging overhead.  In front of the royal train, there is a cart from the Kent and East Sussex Railway (K&ESR) Tenterden station.
