At Senzu Station on the Oigawa Railway, former Japanese National Railways (JNR) Kawasaki-built 2-6-4 tank engine C11.190 rolls off the "Armstrong" (manually-operated) turntable, which was imported from the Ransomes and Rapier company of England.

Fascinating to see a sign of British-built railway equipment still in use on a Japanese railway, as well as the British inspired carriage-height platforms and the ticket gates in stations. I love the green numberplate grounds and side and coupling rod fluting on C11190.
