Description

These two aerial cameras are displayed at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia.  The top camera is an 1890s telephoto camera designed by Dr. Samuel Pierpont Langley, director of the Smithsonian, who used it to take pictures of birds flying over Rock Creek Park in Washington, D.C.  The bottom camera, which reminds me of Fallout's laser musket, is a Konica Type 89 "Rokuosha" camera gun used during World War II aboard Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) and Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) airplanes.
