Lancashire and Yorkshire WREN at NRM Foyer

Description

Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway (L&YR) narrow-gauge 0-4-0 steam locomotive Wren, which was built by Beyer Peacock of Manchester and used at Horwich Works from 1887 to 1962, now sits in the foyer at the entrance to the National Railway Museum in York.  As someone who has recently gotten into narrow-gauge railways, I am happy that the first engine NRM visitors see is Wren.
