Description

Kyoto tram car No. 19 was built in 1910 in the American style.  After its retirement, it was shipped from Japan to the Orange Empire Railway Museum (OERM) in Perris, California, where it is still painted in the green-and-white Kyoto tram livery.  The star-shaped symbol near the foot of the doorway is a symbol for Kyoto, which is based on the kanji 京 (capital) written three times.
