Description

The Japanese Government Railway (JGR) 5000-class 0-4-2 locomotives were built by Sharp-Stewart Atlas Works of Manchester, England in 1871 and used in the Keihanshin (Kyoto/Osaka/Kobe) region.  A model of a 5000 is on display at the Saitama Railway Museum.
