Description

In the Harry Potter films, the Hogwarts Express is pulled by this steam engine, named "Hogwarts Castle" in the films. In real life, it was Great Western Railway (GWR) No. 5972 "Olton Hall," which was retired but later on saved from scrap and painted red for the Harry Potter films. It has been inducted into the National Railway Museum wearing its Hogwarts Railways livery, and given that the Harry Potter films are now done shooting, it can enjoy preservation and the admiration of millions of fans.
