Description
I've just heard some disturbing news from London...the Natural History Museum will remove the Dippy the Diplodocus skeleton from the entrance hall and replace it with a blue whale skeleton, claiming the whale will be more relevant to modern times. I must say Michael Crichton and Steven Spielberg earned their millions writing and filming Jurassic Park, not Cetacean Park. Perhaps the museum administrators could be persuaded to reinstate Dippy as the unofficial museum mascot. As every good schoolboy (and many a schoolgirl too these days) knows, nothing quite captures the imagination like the 100-million-year-old remains of a giant dinosaur.
