These five gusoku (suits of samurai armor) are displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art with a pair of weapons and a black flag bearing what resembles a variant on the crest of the Sakai clan, who were powerful retainers of the Tokugawa Shogunate during the Edo Period.
