Ferret Scout Car at the Smithsonian

The Ferret is an armored scout car that was used by the British Army. 4409 Ferrets were built by Daimler from 1952 to 1971, and some are still in service in Africa and Asia. This Ferret appeared at the Smithsonian on "Become a Pilot Day" next to some 1950s airplanes. The car still runs long after its retirement from HM Defence Forces, but the Bren machine gun has been deactivated.
