Description
The Douglas B-66 Destroyer bomber was a U.S. Air Force adaptation of the naval A-3 Skywarrior. Of the nearly 300 Destroyers built, about half of them were RB-66B photo-recon planes. The RB-66B could not only detect enemies but also jam their radar, which meant it saw a lot of use in the Vietnam War. This particular RB-66B was retired in 1970 and given to the National Museum of the United States Air Force (Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio).
