Akihabara Yodobashi Camera Store

If you want to get a taste of shopping in modern Japan, go to the massive Yodobashi Camera store in Akihabara (Yodobashi Akiba for short).  Its eight sprawling floors contain not just cameras but also clothing, housewares, movies, music, anime/manga, books, toys, and about twenty restaurants.  You could quite easily spend a whole day on each floor there.
