Description

My Welsh Highland Railway (WHR) steam train stopped at Rhyd Ddu Station (est. 1881) for a few minutes to let locomotive NG143 take on water, and several passengers (including myself) took a short break: walking around the platform, enjoying the open air, looking at the plants decorating the platform, and taking pictures of the train and local scenery.
