Description
Better known for building railroad locomotives such as the massive Union Pacific 4-8-8-4 Big Boy, the American Locomotive Company (ALCO) also built automobiles in Providence, Rhode Island from 1905 to 1913. One of the few survivors is this 1912 ALCO touring car, which is on display at the Nethercutt Museum in San Fernando, California.

Awesome! I think ALCO built cars also won a handful of high profile car races during the period they were in production.
